Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Physical Therapist, incumbents independently initiate and perform patient treatments using various procedures, modalities and instructions. In addition, will perform related patient care activities such as removing & reapplying dressings, providing transportation, providing patient education, completing daily progress notes, and ensuring accurate charge entry. Prepares schedules for patients' treatment, and cleans and disinfects equipment as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. If assigned to work with infants and children aged 0 to 21, CCS paneling/approval will be required within one year of hire if qualify for CCS paneling requirement. Attends discharge planning meetings for children with discharge needs applicable to the discipline. Assures that the non CCS paneled therapists/ therapy assts and Rehab Techs will be supervised by a CCS paneled therapist for the care provided to children aged 0-21.

Salary Range:

Rate Minimum $28.32 Maximum $39.54

Required Qualifications:

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Must possess current valid Physical Therapy Assistant License

Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
