Position Summary: Direct and organize operations and procedures, designing systems assignments, and monitoring accounts receivable functions of the FDC office. Assure the efficient functioning of the office occurs through a range of administrative and managerial tasks. Plans, organizes, assigns, and reviews the work of front desk staff and participates in their selection, training and evaluation. Monitors security of front desk/reception area, including ingress and egress of all persons and security of file system.

Minimum Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or Accounting. 2. Two years of professional level accounting, managerial, and/or business experience, one year of which was at an administrative level. 3. Additional education, training and/or work experience in the area of specialization iinherent to the position may be required, which are: a€¢ Knowledge of accounting and accounts receivable. a€¢ Three years of experience in an office environment, one year of which was at an administrative level. a€¢ Demonstrated success with a variety of software and technology, including databases and accounting software. a€¢ Experience in a child care, school, or Head Start environment dealing with multiple constituents on a daily basis. a€¢ Ability to apply a wide range of accounting practices and procedures. Ability to apply a large variety of accounting techniques. 4. Must be able to pass all required criminal record checks including state, child abuse and neglect, sex offender and FBI. 5. Must be able to comply with regulatory health requirements, a pre-employment physical and lift test; proof of MMR and DTAP immunization, initial TB test and annual physical exam. 6. Must have or be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification annually.

Preferred Qualifications: 1. Mastera€™s degree in Business Administration, Management, or Accounting. 2. Ability to compile complex financial records and routine financial statements. 3. Three years of experience in Head Start in an administrative or a fiscal position. 4. Three years of experience and demonstrated expertise with ChildPlus fee management database. 5. Three years of supervisory experience.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 7.5 hours daily. 7-3 or 10- 6 Occasional evenings and Saturdays notified in advance.
