Job Duties: The position will be responsible for a variety of Classification and Compensation functions with accountability of ensuring the validity of data across multiple systems and position management records and files. The position will provide a variety of program and technical assistance within the Classification and Compensation unit. The position is responsible for being thoroughly knowledgeable of personnel policies, practices and procedures within the university system to make appropriate decisions for assigned actions. The position will review, analyze and approve the establishment of faculty positions and will have responsibility for the review and analysis of routine SHRA/CSS positions within our electronic system and ensure compliance with the appropriate approval process for any action requiring external review based on salary administration guidelines. This position will participate and present in formal and one-on-one training for managers, supervisors, and department HR Reps for workshops in various aspects of classification and compensation and electronic systems.
