Duties: Manage the daily functions of New Bolton Center's main pharmacy and satellite pharmacies to ensure efficient operations, including compliance with state and federal regulations, inventory management, and pricing. Supervise and manage performance of pharmacy staff. Manage department's financial performance and Pharmacy inventory. Perform pharmacy technician duties as needed. Enforce drug controls and regulations, contribute to a professional, safe and efficient hospital environment . Assist in all areas as needed to ensure efficient operation of the Hospital. Position located in Kennett Square. No public transportation available.
Qualifications: Associate's degree and 3 - 5 years experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Pharmacy technician or certified veterinary technician preferred. Experience working in a retail or Hospital pharmacy desired. Must be able to react quickly and function effectively in rapidly changing situations involving patient care. Excellent interpersonal skills needed to communicate effectively with clients, faculty, staff and students both written and orally. Supervisory experience desired. Experience with University financial systems a plus. Position requires occasional overtime.
