    Due to continual departmental and sectional growth, the Department of Radiological Sciences, University of California Irvine, is seeking a qualified candidate in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor academic series (Open Ranks - Assistant, Associate or Full Professor). Expertise in all aspects of advanced abdominal imaging especially MRI is a pre-requisite.

    Requirements - The applicant must be fellowship trained in Abdominal Imaging and have a documented interest in research and teaching with documented publications and research activity. The hospital is an NCI designated cancer center with multidisciplinary research opportunities available. Candidates must be board-certified in diagnostic radiology and be licensed or be eligible for full licensure in the State of California.

    The University of California, Irvine Medical Center is located in Orange, California and is the only level I trauma center in the region. The department performs over 220,000 examinations per year and has 30 full-time and part-time faculty. All imaging equipment is state of the art. The department has active multidisciplinary collaboration with other departments. The UC Irvine Medical Center is a 450-bed acute care and tertiary referral facility. Protected research time and research support is available.
