Degree and Area of Specialization:
MD is required.
Prefer MD and PhD.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Candidate must have completed a residency program in Ophthalmology and a Glaucoma fellowship. (required)
Must be board certified/board eligible in Ophthalmology.
1 year experience in glaucoma research or a related field is required.
License or certificate:
Wisconsin Medical License.
The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences is seeking a physician to provide clinical and surgical care and a Glaucoma researcher to enhance the world-class research being conducted at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. This employee will provide clinical and surgical care. This employee will be expected to lead an independent research program in an area related to glaucoma. This individual will be expected to teach all levels of trainees and participate in service activities across the University, School and Department.
