What is Career Connect? Employers say they want to hire critical thinkers with communication skills that work well on a team. While at UNT, students have a variety of opportunities to advance and document these skills both in the classroom and through co-curricular activities- such as internships, volunteer work, research projects, study abroad trips, performances, etc. Career Connect helps faculty, staff, and students integrate our ePortfolio to connect these experiences to the important skills they developed like communication, teamwork and critical thinking - preparing students with marketable skills for careers and graduate degrees.
The Career Connect, in partnership with the Career & Leadership Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Program Project Coordinator to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
*Prepare Career Connect development and training activities and materials to support staff, faculty, and community members in their Career Connect efforts.
*Collaborate with program/project lead in the implementation, planning, promotion/dissemination, and logistical support of program/project activities.
*Implement activities related to the Career Connect, which may include administrative and technical support of program/project activities such as the presentation Career Connect information and plans, technical assistance, research activities, recruitment, training, and liaison duties.
*Cultivate and maintain relationships with appropriate stakeholders (staff, faculty) while also acting as a point of contact for stakeholders related to the program/project.
*Provide individual consultations with staff, faculty, and community members to develop or redesign Career Connect programs and projects.
*Support the implementation of the e-portfolio by providing implementation and pedagogical training for staff, faculty, and community members who participate in Career Connect.

The successful candidate will possess the following required qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in related field and three years of related experience or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:
* Master's degree and three to five (3-5) years' experience faculty development or support.
* Training skills and experience.
* Effective written and oral communication appropriate for dealing with multiple audiences, including faculty, staff, students, and community partners.
* Project management skills.
* Knowledge of experiential learning, high-impact practices, e-portfolios, learning outcomes assessment is desired.
