Minimum Education/Experience: Rank of Assistant Professor requires a Ph.D. in Economics. All degrees must be from appropriately accredited institutions. Successful candidates will demonstrate research interests that apply tools of economic analysis to regional economic development. Areas of research of interest to the department include: urban, rural, and regional analysis; promoting regional economic growth and development while managing environmental issues; and the role of health in regional development.
