Under general supervision of the Chancellor & Provost IT manager, the incumbent will deliver high quality, usable, and maintainable software. These application, database, and web solutions will help executive-level customers improve productivity while upholding data integrity and security best practices.
The incumbent will work with a small team to develop high quality, usable, and maintainable applications. Duties include performing business analysis and interviewing users; implementing and testing changes to database schemas and jobs; designing, building, and testing applications; documenting functional and technical requirements; identifying and resolving deficiencies; and ensuring the integrity and security of data.
Engage with clients to understand scope and criticality of new change requests. Develop training plans, outlines, and materials for clients. Serve as primary point of contact after formal training. Act as a liaison for clients to locate the OIT group best equipped to handle their specific requests.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
Contract Position, 1 year project with possible extension based on budget and department need.
