The targeted salary may be set as high as $7,000 per month based on experience. The salary range for this classification is $4,372 to $9,877 per month.

Full-time/40 hours per week.

Position Description
Under the general supervision of the Director of the Servers, Systems and Websites group, the Desktop Support Project Lead provides daily supervision of the Desktop Support Group (DSG), assists with software packaging and group policy maintenance, and administers service management, knowledgebase, and print server environments. The incumbent tracks software licensing for the Division of Information Technology (DoIT) and works with the ITSC group to maintain hardware and software standard documents for the campus.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge and experience providing support on Windows 7, 8 and 10 desktop operating systems. Knowledge of configuration and deployment of MacOS desktops and laptops. Ability to set up and configuring Windows Server 2008 and 2012 OS. Familiarity with virtual technology such as VMWare and Hyper-V. Ability to install and maintain Windows workstations. Ability to provide desktop support to the division of Administration and Finance. Ability to write technical documentation, implementation plans, and end-user procedures. Ability to install and optimize network access clients, DHCP services, and interface adapters. Ability to install and configure email clients, Internet Browsers, and productivity software. Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols.

Education and Experience
Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Educational Technology, Communications, or related technical field and two years of related experience required.
