Assistant Professor, Computer Science
The School of Computing and Mathematics has an opening for Assistant Professor in Computer Science, starting in August 2018. This is a tenure-track position. Duties include teaching a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting research, and participating in faculty governance. Ability to administrate the School’s computer infrastructure is a plus.
Candidates must possess doctoral degree in computer science, computer engineering, or closely related field. Must have teaching experience, and ability to conduct research. The department has a particular interest in areas of: Operating System Administration (Linux and Windows), System Automation/Scripting (Python and PowerShell), Cyber Security, Computer Networks, Data Science, and Internet of Things
