At Stony Brook Medicine, a Lead Programmer Analyst – Systems Administrator is a valuable member of our team, who will provide Level 3 support for Windows and Linux Systems. The incumbent will be asked to assist in user management, share management, Data Center support, OS patching and troubleshooting of daily tickets. The Senior Programmer/Analyst may also oversee the work of Lead Programmer/Analyst as needed.
Qualified candidates will possess outstanding communication skills while adhering to our high standard of excellence. They will be a team player with the ability to work independently.Duties may include the following but are not limited to:
Required Qualifications: Min. 1-2 years’ experience in systems administration. Min. 1-2 experience in VMware, Active Directory and Windows/Linux OS Support. Min. 1-2 years’ experience with enterprise level ticketing system. Associates Degree in Information Technology related field.
Preferred Qualifications: 3 or more years’ experience in systems administration. Experience in Office 365 Administration, Data Center Support and Asset Management. Working knowledge of SAN and Server Virtualization. Ability to write and/or edit scripts. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology related field.
