Minimum Education/Experience: Master's degree in a discipline related to the field assigned; or Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and two years of research/analysis, preferably with one year in a supervisory role; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Job Duties: This position will ensure compliance of regulatory requirements and department research SOPs and prepare all clinical trial IRB submissions. The Social/Clinical Research Manager will support the Director of Research in routine internal regulatory audits. The Social/Clinical Research Manager will assume responsibilities for different managerial aspects of the clinical research projects. The manager will ensure executive planning, development, direction, management, monitor progress and supervision of all activities necessary for the clinical research projects. The Social/Clinical Research Manager will be responsible for coordination of clinical trial employee meetings to review current and prospective projects, enrollment, potential issues, activities of trials staff, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, facilitating study start up meeting and protocol, and coordinate staff training opportunities. The manager will complete performance evaluations and manage the efforts of clinical trial study coordinators. The Social/Clinical Research Manager will support pre-award research funding (Initial budget review and draft negotiations) & post-award research funding (submit invoices), and provide input to the financial team to effectively project financial models.
