Job Duties: The primary purpose of this position will be to serve as a Compliance Officer with responsibility to audit records of ProCard purchases, review of reports, review of bid solicitations and any other audits deemed appropriate by the Director. These audits will be made to ensure compliance with the State of North Carolina Administrative Code, North Carolina Purchasing Manual as well as ECU Purchasing Policies. These audits will be conducted using a prescribed and approved audit process. This position will be responsible for addressing routine exceptions with the end users and advising the Director of any significant findings. The audits will be a sampling of a large number of transactions which represent the spending of significant dollars. This position will work with the Director and Associate Director of Materials Management to develop goals, reviews current operations, and develop approved processes to be used.
