Advertised Job Summary: The Post-doctoral resident will function as a trainee-member and is responsible for providing counseling and outreach services to the University of South Carolina students under the supervision of Licensed Psychologists. Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: counseling and psychological services: intake evaluation and assessment, treatment goals and planning, individual and couples counseling, group psychotherapy, crisis intervention and management, consultation, outreach and other programs to enhance the mental well-being of students. Individual will provide training and clinical supervision to trainees as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): A completed Ph.D. or Psy.D. in counseling or clinical psychology from an APA accredited program, which included a completed Doctoral internship. The incumbent must reside in the University housing (two bedroom, one bathroom duplex). Post-Doctoral resident must be able to start August 1st.
