Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

Performs administrative and support service activities under the general supervision of the Director of the Office of Equal Opportunity Programs. Will serve as the Administrative Assistant for the EOP Office and will also provide administrative support for EOP Office Staff.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

Bachelor's degree, or high school diploma and 4 years work experience that is directly related to the area of employment or equivalency.

Preferred Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Knowledge of USC Policies and Procedures. Knowledge of personal computer and accompanying programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Knowledge of current office management practices. Ability to deal effectively and professionally with the public in handling inquiries and providing information to the public and co-workers. Should possess the ability to compose and edit routine correspondence.
