Reporting to the Executive Director of Technology Solutions, this position oversees efforts related to multiple projects to ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions in the division of Graduate and Professional Enrollment and Student Services. The Sr. Technical Program Manager will work with the division's leadership team to set the overall strategy and objectives for a group of technology projects and make sure projects outcomes are aligned with the organization's overall business goals. The Sr. Technical Program Manager should be comfortable acting as a project manager and with performing project management tasks. These tasks include helping stakeholders develop product vision, roadmap, scope of work, work breakdown, project schedules, resource allocation, risk management, and interdepartmental communication. This position works with both business and technology stakeholders to share a unified vision and establish best resource allocation.
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in CRM, ERP, or other enterprise level application.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- 3-5 years of experience at least with one project management or portfolio management platform.
- Knowledge of Scrum/Kanban project management using Jira is required.
- Knowledge of SDLC administration from concept to release is required.
- Strong Microsoft office skills.
- Experience using sketching, wire-framing, and prototyping tools like Visio, Edraw and balsamiq.
- Working knowledge in projects involving data mining, data visualization, reporting, and dashboards is highly preferred.
