Staff Research Associate III Supervisor

Under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) and/or assigned personnel, the Staff Research Associate position supports the efforts of the PI's Research Program which encompasses a set of multi-disciplinary research studies funded by the National Institutes of Health. The overarching aims of this program are (1) to elucidate the influential biological, behavioral and psychosocial factors related to child and adolescent behavioral and mental health conditions; and (2) to identify the underlying mechanisms of interventions/treatments for such behavioral/mental health conditions. Responsibilities of the position will include recruiting and screening study participants; coordination of study visits; implementation of specific study protocols; biological sample collection; collection, coding, entry and maintenance of study data; collection, organization, processing and shipping of biological specimens; submission of protocols and annual reports to the institutional review board (IRB) and assistance with submission of reports to the funding agencies and publications to journals.

Salary: Monthly $4,517.67 - $6,142.75
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
Career Position.
Must be willing to travel between study sites: UCI Campus, UCI Medical Center, CHOC Children's Hospital, and other potential sites in Orange, Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties.
Must be willing to have an irregular work schedule and to work non-standard hours(evenings/weekends) as needed.
Final candidate subject to background check.
