Academic Counselor/Health Professions Advisor

This position is only available to current UCI employees.

This position is for Student Affairs Officer III. Under general supervision of the Director of Student Affairs, the person holding this position will be responsible for administering the Bio Sci 194S "Safety and Ethics" on-line course. This person will also be responsible for organizing the Bio Sci Peer Tutoring program and supervising the Bio Sci Peer Tutor Coordinators. This person will also assist in management of the Bio Sci research program by answering students' questions about the program, managing online materials, and evaluating required forms. This person also performs a wide range of student support services as an Academic Counselor for the Ayala School of Biological Sciences. Academic counseling duties include individual, new student, career, probation, personal, and first contact academic counseling. This person will also provide advising to pre-health students regarding preparation for applying to a variety of health profession programs.

Salary: Range $54,212.00 - $73,713.00
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
