Baruch College's strategic plan calls for the emergence of the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences as a high-quality liberal arts school. Established in 2002, the Financial Engineering MS (MFE) Program is one of the top such programs in the country and one of the educational of worldwide recognized prestige and leadership for Baruch College and the Weissman School. The Baruch MFE program produces competitive, successful, and highly skilled graduates by promoting the study of mathematical and algorithmic models in finance.

The Baruch MFE Program seeks an Associate Director of Industry Relations to join a highly successful community. The Associate Director of Industry Relations will expand and strengthen the connections with employers of Baruch MFE graduates from the financial industry and will be responsible for giving the Baruch MFE students a highly professional presence on the job market.

Additional duties include but are not limited to:
- Establish, maintain, and grow relationships with hiring managers from financial industry companies which are employers or potential employers of Baruch MFE graduates.
- Manage and lead the on-campus interviewing process for Baruch MFE students including scheduling interviews, student preparation, and hosting of interviewers; organize and host recruiting events with financial engineering employers; and lead student visits to prospective employers.
- Develop and present career development offerings to Baruch MFE students, including workshops on resume and cover letter writing, clear speech and communication programs for international students, and a program on how to make the most out of an internship opportunity.
- Perform ongoing assessment of program offerings to enhance student experiences.
- Coordinate with hiring managers from financial companies to compile and maintain current information on deadlines and application requirements for full-time positions and summer internship programs; follow-up on the progress of students in the interviewing process.
- Inform the students of the company-specific process to follow for applying for full-time and internship opportunities and oversee the resume submission process
- Research and identify job opportunities on professional boards to create direct connections for recommending students directly to hiring managers.
- Conduct periodic one-on-one meetings with students to provide guidance on job search and career advancement and to assist in interview preparation.
- Provide skilled advice and guidance to students in negotiating job offers and navigating the interviewing process.

Bachelor’s Degree and six (6) years of full-time work experience required.

A preferred candidate should have:
- Master's Degree
- Three (3) years of work experience with an academic program at graduate level or recruiting for a financial institution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail
- A flexible schedule, including occasional evening and weekend hours
