Job description

The Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) and the Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. Board Certification in Internal and Medical Oncology is required.

The successful candidate will have clinical and teaching experience in medical oncology and will be a skilled physician and leader to assist in emphasizing safety, quality and clinical pathways. This is a joint recruitment. The selected candidate will serve at both the Philadelphia VA Medical Center and Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
