The Julis-Rabinowitz Center for Public Policy and Finance part of the Woodrow Wilson School, invites outstanding professionals to apply for Professional Specialist appointment. The Professional Specialist will work with the center leadership to design and execute initiatives aimed at increasing the scholarship in public policy and finance at the Julis-Rabinowitz Center for Public Policy and Finance. The Professional Specialist will play a central role in the development and execution of the Center's educational and research initiatives and in interpreting the research of Center faculty affiliates for the broader community of students, financial market practitioners and policy makers. Principal responsibilities include: -Design and coordinate workshops on financial markets for Woodrow Wilson Graduate students. -Work with faculty in the development of course offerings and in the promotion of established courses sponsored by the Center. -Work with the Center Director in facilitating and promoting research collaboration among faculty affiliates and between faculty and student affiliates. -Produce research briefs for dissemination with the objective of increasing the visibility of the research of Center affiliated faculty and students. - Write and/or edit summaries of the Center's Annual Conference and other high-profile Center sponsored talks. -Oversee research collaborations with outside institutions such as the African School of Economics. -Engage with Undergraduate and Graduate Associates of the Center to support their academic growth. Essential Qualifications -Advanced degree in Economics plus five years' experience in a related field -Interest in and knowledge of financial markets and macroeconomics -Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability to convey scientific knowledge across technical and general populations -Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with diverse populations -Strong organizational skills To apply please apply online and submit a CV and Cover letter.
