Job description

Duties: The Senior Research Investigator position will be involved with research into adoptive T-cell immunotherapy. The primary responsibility of this position will be the management of a collaborative research project that requires planning, organizing and managing laboratory and animal model experiments under the guidance of the principle investigator. This position will also involve training and managing technical staff as appropriate to the project. The successful applicant will be involved in research into using adoptive immunotherapy to control cancer. He/she will lead a research effort under the guidance of the principle investigator, and will require significant ability to design and conduct laboratory research independently.

Qualifications: A doctoral degree (PhD or MD) is required with a background and 5+ years postdoctoral experience in cell biology and/or immunology with experience using animal models of cancer. Advanced knowledge in techniques of cell and molecular biology and the generation of transgenic mice is also desirable.
