Administrative Assistant IV
Performs specific/specialized clerical, accounting, customer service, registration, records/document maintenance etc., for college, office, or dept.
Serves as the first point of contact for the office of Student Disability Services; answers all incoming phone calls, responds to inquiries, and redirects calls as needed; greets and assists students/faculty/staff/families who come into the office.
Oversees SDS schedule; assists students with making appointments with SDS staff and with scheduling testing, scribing, and other accommodations based appointments; assists with creating, distributing, filing and scanning of faculty notification letters.
Manages Student Disability Services e-mail inbox: responding and/or disseminating to appropriate sub-folders.
Hires and provides administrative supervision to student workers.
General office administration, including maintaining and monitoring departmental office supplies and notifying Director when ordering is needed.
Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, meet deadlines, and oversee organization of the office
Minimum Hiring Salary:$11.65 per hour

High School Diploma and 3 years experience.
Experience in Higher Education settings and working with individuals with disabilities
Proficiency in the use of computers and software to include Microsoft office and a demonstrated ability to learn proprietary software
