The Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Colorado School of Medicine seeks an experienced, licensed clinical psychologist with demonstrated expertise in the use of evidence-based treatment with children and adolescents in pediatric specialty care clinics and inpatient medical settings. Many specialty clinics located at Children's Hospital Colorado are committed to providing embedded mental health services. Opportunities exist in a variety of these specialties, and the position may include practice in Consultation/Liaison, Transplant, GI, Neurology, Cystic Fibrosis and general Med Psych, across inpatient and outpatient settings. Those with interest and experience in Med Psych and Consultation Liaison broadly, as well as specific interests in gastroenterology and transplant are highly encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to psychologists with a scientist-practitioner orientation, who are interested in contributing to the clinical evidence base for psychology practice in the pediatric subspecialty setting. This position is a faculty position with rank commensurate with the applicant's experience.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology from an APA accredited program with an APA or APPIC approved internship. Applicants must possess a Colorado Psychologist License or be eligible for licensure within the state of Colorado. Must obtain Medical staff privileges at Children's Hospital Colorado.
1-2 years of postdoctoral experience that includes clinical training duties, clinical supervision, administrative or teaching responsibilities. Strong administrative, interpersonal, research, oral and written skills. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, campus departments, and student groups. Experience and skill in consulting with professional colleagues and staff. Demonstrated commitment to multiculturalism and experience with diverse populations.
