UK Research Computing offers advanced cyberinfrastructure resources and expertise to campus and researchers across the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The role of Research Computing is to identify how current technologies apply to a large spectrum of research fields ranging from basic science and engineering, to biomedical and bioinformatics applications, to data-intensive computational humanities, and support the access, development, and application of appropriate resources.

The Department of Research Computing has an immediate need for a staff member with design, deployment, and operations experience in cyberinfrastructure technologies. The Research Computing Associate will provide a wide range of support for existing campus cyber infrastructure; utilize and promote the application to advance research; and promote and develop monitoring and measurement systems for critical campus systems associated to Research Computing, which includes campus and external resources.
