General Summary: The University of North Georgia (UNG) is currently accepting applications for the position of Limited Term Lecturer of Political Science in the Department of Political Science & International Affairs (PSIA) for the 2018-2019 Academic Year Only. The successful candidate may teach on multiple campuses with the focus being Gainesville.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Teaching 15 hours per semester (5/5; undergraduate) The successful candidate will teach freshman level and possibly an upper division course.


Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • The successful candidate must have a Masters' in political science, international relations or a related field, Ph.D. preferred.
  • Must have a successful teaching and publication record.
  • Must have a focus in international relations.

Preference will be given to those candidates who:
1) Have a strong background in teaching Introduction to Global Issues and American Government
2) Are committed to strongly supporting and growing the degree offerings of the department.
