ANALYST PROGRAMMER I

As a Program Analyst I you will implement software programming and usage best practices to create more useful databases Research study management. Design, develop, and maintain database for multiple studies. Research study management. Produce electronic progress reports for study meetings. Identify adverse trends and appropriate recommendations and conclusions to ensure that the study remains on schedule. Reprogram/modify the database as needed in order to collect all required study data. Create clickable reports to allow the project manager to independently gauge study progress and trends. Keep in contact with study participants. Generate data exports for analysis by statistician.

Consult with statistician to gauge completeness of export; modify if necessary. Write a custom code-book for documentation and analysis purposes Develop SOPs around REDCap use. Interface with REDCap IT support for change management operations of REDCap. Act as REDCap Super user. Participate in REDCap committee through national consortium and stay abreast of current trends in use case scenarios. Provide consultation to clients (investigators, project managers and research coordinators, study personnel, statisticians, administrators, etc.) interested in data management Plan and teach instructional courses on MS Access and custom databases, as needed.

Develop instructional and reference materials for users to bring back to their offices. Provide informal, one-on-one instruction as needed, both in person and over email or telephone. Supervise work-study students working on research projects in partnership with the RMT. Provide feedback, mentorship, and support to students Design and administer surveys in REDCap Survey

Education
