Professional Research Assistant

This position will be expected to focus on conducting research in the field of pharmacology and physiology of voltage- gated calcium channels in various in vitro preparations using patch-clamp technique, as well as any complementary molecular, immunohistological and/or in vivo techniques under guidance and supervision of Dr. Slobodan M. Todorovic. To do this the candidate will be provided state-of-the-art equipment and resources, as well as appropriate lab space in South Medical Research Building assigned to Drs. Slobodan M. Todorovic and Vesna Jevtovic- Todorovic. The position will include general lab administrative duties, management of mouse colony, as well as training in various behavioral, immunohistological and electrophysiological techniques.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of a Bachelor degree, or equivalent experience.

Desired Qualifications:

In vivo and/or in vitro electrophysiological techniques experience
