Conference Center Assistants (PT, Temporary)
Curry College invites applications for seven (7) part-time, temporary summer Conference Center Assistants. This temporary, summer position is a 30 hour per week position and the duration of the appointment is June 13, 2018 through August 10, 2018. The Conference Center Assistant position reports to the Director of Conference Services.
The Conference Center Assistant is responsible for creating a safe environment for campers/guests at the College during their stay. The Conference Center Assistant will be responsible for various Administrative and Building Management duties including, but not be limited to: performing room inventory and condition inspections and documentation, key and fire safety equipment checks, reporting maintenance and/or damage issues, posting notices, checking fields, participating in a rotational lunch duty and participating in the On Call Duty rotation.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and remain productive amidst multiple interruptions.
- Solid interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to serve in the on-duty rotation as scheduled.
- Matriculating Curry College students preferred.
At the College's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be excepted where the candidate can demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the college, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
