Professor of Film and Television

Job description

Join the SCAD film and television department in Savannah as a full-time professor and help talented students realize their goals.

SCAD film and television students are immersed in a creative studio environment where cutting-edge technology along with academic and professional instruction enable them to create award-winning media. Student productions have been screened at premier film festivals around the world, including the Sundance Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival, the Los Angeles Film Festival and South by Southwest.

The ideal candidate demonstrates an understanding of all aspects of filmmaking from concept development and preproduction to postproduction and distribution, including knowledge of existing and emerging technologies related to production, postproduction, and film studio production.

⎯ Master’s degree or its equivalent in film and television or a related field
⎯ Industry experience; recent professional experience preferred
⎯ College-level teaching experience preferred
