Professional Research Asst
A 50% FTE information technology (IT) manager is sought for the CU Center for Astrophysics and Space Astronomy (CASA). The IT manager will manage Mac OSX, Windows, and Linux workstations and their networking; configure and manage the CASA website and researchers' web pages; maintain printing systems; configure, specify, purchase, and manage repair of computing hardware; and supervise undergraduate IT assistants. Knowledge of Python and Bash shell programming, Druple website configuration, basic cyber security, and audio-visual systems is desirable. The IT manager will interface with CASA researchers and staff and personnel in the CU Office of Information Technology.
Ability to provide a supportive and collaborative work relationship with scientists, students, and engineers.
