Job Description
The University of North Texas Libraries seeks to hire a Senior Administrative Coordinator to join the staff of the Libraries' Administrative Office. This position serves as Assistant to the Dean of Libraries and implements personnel processes for library salaried employees. Position requires professionalism, confidentiality and flexibility.

Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

* Manages Dean of Libraries calendar, assists with correspondence and other requested tasks.
* Schedules, coordinates, and prepares minutes for Library Dean's Council and Library Advocacy Board (fundraising board) meetings, events, and general correspondence.
* Responsible for all paperwork involved in employment, promotion and termination of all library salaried personnel including librarians, staff and graduate student employees.
* Serves as I-9 Coordinator.
* Acts as timekeeper for the Libraries.
* Supports Library supervisors with collection and submission of evaluations, on-boarding, off-boarding, and university award processes.
* Remains current on University policy and procedures and responds to employee questions.
* Serves as Records Management Representative.

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and five years of highly responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:

* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Advanced written communication skills.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
* Knowledge of accounting/budgeting procedures.
* Ability to work under pressure, to adjust to constant changes, to handle multiple tasks, and to coordinate the work of others.
* Ability to keep complex records, to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats.
* Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively.
* Ability to work on complex and confidential tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness.
* Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships.
* Knowledge of policies, practices, procedures and terminology of assigned function.
* Supervisory skills.

The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* High level of confidentiality
* Understanding of appropriate protocols when working with donors
* Ability to schedule tasks in order to meet deadlines in a timely, accurate manner
* Ability to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, and outside constituents
* Experience with faculty and staff hiring
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suites (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated and committed to excellence
