Postdoctoral Teaching Scholar

Essential Job Duties: The primary purpose of a teaching post doc or visiting assistant professor with a 2/2 teaching load to teach introductory and occasionally more advanced undergraduate courses. The post doc would be offered a 2-year contract, renewable if funding is available. The university provides support for instructors in using Moodle for presentation of course materials. The position includes time for research and learning the scholarship of teaching.
Department Required Skills: Successful applicants should demonstrate motivation to teach and mentor undergraduate students, and show evidence of an ability to publish research in their substantive specialty.
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: Ability to teach upper division courses and some experience in teaching introductory courses is preferred.
