About the Unit
The Research Technician will work in a dynamic neurophysiological lab starting summer of 2018. Research focuses on the neural basis of motor control and learning http://pondside.uchicago.edu/oba/faculty/Hatsopoulos/lab/.
- Maintain animal health records and protocol forms
- Monitor animal health, surgery preparation and assistance
- Assist in training of nonhuman primates for behavioral tasks,
- Order lab supplies
- Perform various other duties as necessary for the functioning of the laboratory

Education, Experience and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum of one-year relevant research experience required
- Experience with primate handling preferred
Technical Knowledge or Skills:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
