Position Summary:

Incumbent ensures HR documentation and employment record compliance. The incumbent performs quality reviews, maintenance and accurate data processing in HR & Payroll Systems. Serves as the liaison to Payroll, IS, Risk Management, Compliance, OEOD, and other requestors. Responsible for position control audits and documentation monitoring. Incumbent serves as a subject matter expert on the data, system and processes, assists requestors and end-users with inquiries, procedures or system issues. Finally, incumbent gathers data, performs detailed analysis and provides statistical reports.

Salary Range:

Rate Minimum $23.90 Midpoint $32.16 Maximum $40.42

Required Qualifications:

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization, including Campus, UCOP and UCPC

Ability to independently analyze and discriminate between important and unimportant details, recognize inconsistencies between facts, and draw correct inferences from information

Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor under difficult circumstances

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential information in a discreet and professional manner

Demonstrated advanced computer knowledge and current experience with Microsoft Office and SharePoint

Demonstrated experience with accurate data entry, word processing, preparation of standard correspondence, telephone management and responding to client requests

Demonstrated work experience in progressively more complex roles related to data analysis

Excellent organizational skills, flexibility and composure to coordinate multiple assignments/projects simultaneously with efficiency and timeliness

Excellent presentation skills, ability to maintain composure and provide clear concise information

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Keen sense of urgency and accountability

Minimum of two years' experience working in a high touch, client service position

Minimum of two years' experience working in a support role within a HR department

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Preferred Qualifications:

Associates' degree

Continuous improvement or quality experience

Current PHR or SPHR Certification

Demonstrated experience with Payroll and LMS data systems, preferably SumTotal

Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting

Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms

Knowledge of employment practices
