Position Summary:

The incumbent serves in a three month, rotational, core-competency based program that provides training and development for individuals seeking a career in health system strategy and administration. Incumbent performs a variety of analytical and administrative tasks to support the operations of the Strategic Services Department and which have a direct impact on the organization's strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Ability to analyze and synthesize complex data and present summary information and recommendations

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystem

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Ability to succeed in a fast paced environment with multiple demands on time

Analytical skills to identify problems, conduct research, analyze data and determine solutions

Demonstrated ability to work independently and also work in a collaborative team environment

Demonstrated interest in a career in healthcare administration

Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Current enrollment in a Master's degree program in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field
