Position Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Director of CDDC Operations, the Administrative Analyst provides support to the Medical Director and the Administrative Director to develop effective funding and accounting projections and forecasts for use by management, provides sound advice using good judgment to interpret policy matters of consequence regarding assessment of gifts and donations and CME dollars and purchases made by faculty members. Serves as the liaison with all campus departments for recharges on events for the CDDC. Independently prepares reports for management decision making in regards to scheduling clinics and procedure time for faculty members. Serves as a consultant and advisor on all special academic personnel appointments and matters dealing with the Endoscopic Ultrasound fellowship program. Actively participates on committees and special projects for faculty recruitments and courses headed by the Medical Director of the CDDC. Independently plans, coordinates, and implements recommendations for major national and international conference preparation on behalf of the CDDC Director. Effectively represents the CDDC at various meetings and on projects in regards to collaboration with other faculty members at UCI and various other academic entities on conferences/events hosted by the CDDC and other UCI departments. Supports strategic planning efforts with Business Development for physician outreach and community outreach. Helps coordinate physician and nursing education programs in conjunction with the business development team. Develops and analyzes tracking mechanisms for all current and newly developed business development plans. Works with individuals from multiple divisions, medical center departments, faculty and staff to achieve business objectives. Acts on behalf of the Senior Director in facilitating a variety of operational issues.

Salary Range:

Rate Minimum $22.70 Midpoint $30.05 Maximum $37.40

Required Qualifications:

Ability to act independently to solve problems and develop recommendations

Ability to act independently to solve problems and develop recommendations for approval

Ability to produce complex financial reports

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks

Demonstrated advanced knowledge and ability to produce reports from computer programs such as Excel, Access and Word

Excellent problem solving skills

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Experience developing and/or monitoring budgets

Skill to analyze, organize and independently prioritize work assignments

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of UCI policies and procedures
