Job Description & Salary Range
Position Summary: The incumbent designs and manages the Business Intelligence (BI) tools and application environment that support analytics for ACO delivery at UC Irvine Health.
Salary Range:
Rate Minimum $73,000.00 Maximum $131,500.00
Required Qualifications: 3-5 years experience with Microsoft SQL ServerAbility to customize Business Intelligence tools to meet user needsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystemAbility to lead projects or portions of larger projectsAbility to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workloadAbility to translate business questions and requirements into reports, templates and analytical viewsAbility to troubleshoot hardware and software based technical issues to ensure a stable, robust data warehouse/BI environment in Windows platformsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or combination of education and equivalent work experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishExperience with Transact SQL scripts and relational and multidimensional database designsMinimum of 5 years working in programming in a healthcare or finance settingMust demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the jobMust possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned dutiesStrong problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications: Business Intelligence (BI) tools experienceData Warehouse development experienceExperience using MS Reporting Services (MSRS) and knowledge of SQL Server Reporting ServicesExperience using an ETL tool such as TalendExperience with data modeling toolsFull software lifecycle development experience using a variety of programming environments, including open source toolsPrevious experience working with TSI Decision Support system or an equivalent system
