Lecturer in Strategic Communication
Elmhurst College invites applications for a lecturer in Communication with a background in strategic communication, public relations, or similar field. Teaching responsibilities include introductory courses such as Introduction to Public Relations, Interpersonal Communication, and Public Speaking as well as upper-level courses such as Event Management and Case Studies in Crisis Communication. Evidence of outstanding teaching or teaching potential is essential. The teaching load is eight courses per year. Candidates should have a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environments for a diverse student body. A masters in strategic communication, public relations or a closely related field is required. Industry experience preferred.
