Summary of Duties:
The Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine (ESFCOM) at Washington State University is embarking on the accreditation and development of a next generation medical school designed to train students to be physician leaders, who innovate, adapt and discover in an ever changing healthcare landscape. The School is now inviting applications for the position of Research Study Assistant who will join the Sleep and Performance Research Center team in leading the college into the future.

The Research Assistant in the Sleep and Performance Research Center is responsible for conducting in-residence laboratory and field studies of sleep, sleep deprivation and performance in healthy volunteers. This position will support specific extramurally funded research projects, in particular the CDMRP-funded laboratory study “Sleep Deprivation Effects on Cognitive Flexibility in Dynamic Decision Making Environments” (ORSO 126499), the Jazz Pharmaceuticals-funded clinical study “FACT: Flexible Attention Control Task” (ORSO 130792).

Required Qualifications:
Two years of college level course work in a relevant academic area AND one year of appropriate experience OR equivalent education/experience.
