The Department of Psychology at Lewis University, a comprehensive, Catholic university located in Romeoville, Illinois, is seeking an Assistant Professor. This is a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position beginning fall 2018. The faculty member will report to the Program Director for the Human Resource Management Program (HRM) and the Psychology Department Chairperson.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Teaching courses (12 credit hours per semester) which may include but are not limited to: statistics, research methods, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Training, and Organizational Staffing
  • Academic advising of undergraduate students
  • Active participation in departmental level committee work
  • Active participation in college and University level committee work
  • Active participation in departmental level assessment projects
  • Assistance in curriculum development
  • Support of student organizations such as Psi Chi, and Psychology Club
  • Experience with online or hybrid/blended teaching

Minimum Qualifications: ABD; MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology; Demonstrated record of teaching excellence at the college level.

Preferred Qualifications: Earned PhD; content areas: Organizational, Industrial/Organizational or Social Psychology with background in applied organizational psychology, and applied experience in Human Resource Management.
