JOB SUMMARY:

Provides integrated and comprehensive leadership and community engagement programs and services that enable students to be engaged global citizens. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:

40% - Essential - PROGRAM MANAGEMENT:
Assists in the development, marketing, and management of a variety of community engagement initiatives and leadership learning programs for a diverse campus community. Assesses programs and services and utilizes assessment data to inform future practices. Primary responsibilities include days of service, leader & leadership development workshop series, and Women's Leadership Conference. Assists with planning and coordination of Alternative Break Program.

20% - Essential - COLLABORATION AND CONSULTATION:
Collaborates with campus partners to deliver programs and services aimed at developing leadership proficiency. Serves as a consultant to student groups and campus departments on high impact practices in leadership development and community engagement.

15% - Essential - STUDENT DEVELOPMENT:
Coordinate recruitment, selection, and training of students serving as peer leaders in support of community engagement and leadership learning programs.

15% - Essential - MARKETING AND OUTREACH:
Promotes programs & services to student population utilizing varied forms of marketing. Utilizes appropriate communication mechanisms to provide updates on programs and services to campus partners and student groups in order to increase program visibility across campus. Builds relationships with community partners to support opportunities for students to engage with the regional community.

10% - Essential - GRADUATE ASSISTANT DEVELOPMENT:
Recruits, hires, trains and manages one graduate assistant.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs.
