Posting Summary:
The College and Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Virginia seeks an individual to support activities and operations of the Learning Design & Technology team, a group that supports faculty in teaching, learning and technology initiatives. The Instructional Technology Specialist will serve as a key part of project teams, supporting implementation through tool management, media development, and research of emerging technologies; have responsibility for managing the Media Studio(s); help develop faculty workshops; and generally support the efforts of the Director and Instructional Designers.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated knowledge of media production equipment, including teleprompters, lighting, microphones, cameras, etc.
-Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
-Willingness to learn new skills both formally and informally
-Ability to follow directions, work effectively as part of a team, manage multiple tasks, and pay attention to detail
