Position Summary: The Senior Director of Foundation Operations for the Medical Foundation of NC is a member of the program's senior management team, reports directly to the President of the Medical Foundation and has substantial independence of administrative authority and discretion in operational issues and allocation of resources. Key roles involve participating in the formulation and execution of strategy for the program; developing, disseminating and monitoring the application of operating policies; overseeing the human resource management functions and managing and overseeing the program interface with other parts of the university.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8-10 years of development operations.
Qualification and Experience: ESSENTIALS: Must have strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and sound judgement; attention to detail and accuracy; creativity and problem solving skills; proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point; familiarity with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. PREFERRED: Experience preferably in a University or other non-profit setting.
