Job Description:


Serves as the subject matter expert for the Ford Training program. Tracks and reports student outcomes such as placement data, attendance, grade submissions, and completion metrics.


• Serves as the subject matter expert for the Ford Training program

• Advises, counsels, and provides feedback to students on proper documentation and clinical skills techniques

• Administers competency testing to Ford Training students

• Reinforces the instruction provided by faculty by utilizing a variety of learning modalities in the labs

• Manages record-keeping system to ensure program and students meet and maintain compliance standards

• Effectively interprets program requirements to assist with the program's compliance efforts

• Manages the preparation of records and labs for surveyor site visits

• Develops and maintains departmental spreadsheets and databases to track and report student outcomes such as attendance and grade submissions

• Provides a full range of program support

• Assists in the development of policies related to the Ford Training program

• Assists with student instruction in various Ford Training labs as needed

• Participates in Tri-C Instructor training, events and orientation

• Performs other duties as assigned




• Bachelor's Degree in a related field

o Significant related experience may substitute for education

• Minimum of five years of demonstrated experience coordinating and/or managing an industry training

• Demonstrated experience making sound decisions that affect a work unit or team

• Demonstrated effectiveness in a role requiring dynamic and abstract problem solving methods in adaptive situations


• Possess strong organizational and time-management skills

• Possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to promote student success

• Ability to effectively complete work assignments independently

• Possess working knowledge of training concepts, practices and procedures with the ability to use in varied situations as it pertains to the departmental focus

• Demonstrated intermediate project management skills

• Demonstrated intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Ability to confidentially and discreetly handle subject matters requiring privacy and sensitivity

• Ability to collaborate, persuade, gain cooperation and acceptance of ideas on significant projects

• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key contacts to enhance work flow and quality

• Ability to research and analyze issues and develop solutions

• Works accurately and great attention to detail

The work is performed in a normal, professional office environment; The work area is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated; Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the duties of the job and will perform repetitive motions with hands/fingers using a computer
mouse and keyboard to type. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, pamphlets, books, etc.; Work may also require walking and standing in conjunction with travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the work-site.
