School of Physician Assistant Practice – College of Medicine


This is a highly responsible OPS position in a detail-oriented office where customer service and teamwork are highly emphasized. This position provides front desk customer service as well as administrative support for the School of Physician Assistant Practice
Provides day-to-day office support, including: scheduling meetings, organizing files, processing travel reimbursements and office supply orders, managing incoming/outgoing mail, answering phones, and running occasional errands.
Assists office staff in ensuring that requests from faculty, staff, and students are properly identified, routed, and handled.
Assists with planning and arranging program social functions, meetings, and other events to include managing guest lists, sending invitations, and event set-up and break-down.
Promotes an atmosphere of teamwork in accomplishing the mission and goals of the School of Physician Assistant Practice to include participating in the delivery of support services for special projects and scheduled events, meeting key school deadlines, and additional assignments as needed.


High school diploma/equivalent and two years of office experience performing administrative duties.
Valid Florida or Georgia Driver’s License or the ability to obtain.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Experience in performing assigned responsibilities with minimal to moderate supervision.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Proficient with applicable computer software and operating systems, such as, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.


The ideal candidate will have prior office experience and demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail with the ability to multi-task, experience organizing meetings or special events, and applicable computer proficiency.

Anticipated Salary Range

Up to $15/hour, commensurate with education and experience

Pay Plan

This is an OPS/temporary Job.


The future incumbent will be working 30-40 hours per week.

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
