The Communication and Outreach Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with the Dean, School of Business to develop, communicate and promote the School of Business through various outlets.

General Communications -- Responsible for all internal and external communication coordination in the School of Business (School) in conjunction with the Dean. Use the appropriate social media tools and resources to communicate and create mass correspondence for the School. Prepare and distribute newsletters and periodic updates for the School. Assist the Dean with all alumni communication and updates. Will coordinate with Public Relations to ensure the integrity of the institutional brand is upheld. Actively promote the visibility of the School.

  • Social Media Outreach -- Provide expertise and determine what social media channel (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.) to use an as appropriate promotional tool. Promote the School Faculty achievements through various forms of social media and to comply with accreditation standards.
  • Website Design and Maintenance -- Update and maintain the School's web page. Design web pages for departments in the School.
  • Miscellaneous -- Responsible for managing the collection of achievements and highlights of the School in conjunction with the accrediting body. Hire and manage student workers who will help with communication tasks in the School. Work with the Dean and Department Heads to coordinate events in the School. Perform all other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum Qualifications
    Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Business or a related field is required; Master's Degree is preferred.
  • 5 or more years experience in a related field with multi-media or digital communications.
  • Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Advanced experience in Logic Audio Software is required.
  • Excellent verbal, written and problem solving skills are essential.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team-oriented environment.
