POSITION: Full Professor with tenure and Department Chair of Speech-Language Pathology (12-month, Full-Time)

EFFECTIVE DATE: On or after July 31, 2018

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 	
• Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language
Pathology, or a related discipline from an accredited program;
• Hold the certificate of clinical competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA);
• Licensed as a speech-language pathologist in California or eligible for licensure in California, which must be obtained within the first year of employment;
• Demonstrated excellence as a department chair or relevant administrative experience in working effectively with faculty, scheduling, and budgeting;
• Demonstrated excellence in collegiate teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level;
• Research and publication record commensurate with the rank of full professor;
• Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population.

QUALIFICATIONS:			
• Successful grant writing
• Experience with hybrid and online instructional settings
• Experience mentoring faculty
• Evidence of a commitment to diversity, leadership, and faculty governance
• Evidence of a record of collaboration
• Experience in clinical supervision at the graduate level
