Full-time lecturer appointment with possible additional summer responsibilities. We seek an individual with administrative experience to provide leadership for and manage the teacher education unit at Case Western Reserve University. This person will develop a vision for the future growth and development of the university’s teacher education programs. The Director of Teacher Education will teach two-three courses per academic year. The university offers programs leading to Ohio licensure in art education and music education, as well as French, Latin, Spanish and high school integrated language arts, integrated social studies, integrated mathematics, life sciences and physical sciences. In addition to assuming the responsibilities of Director of Teacher Education, this person will also serve as Director of the Adolescent to Young Adult (AYA) and Multi-Age licensure programs.

Preferred qualifications include a doctorate in an educational field, administrative skills, PK-12 teaching experience, university or college teaching experience, and familiarity with Ohio and national accrediting agency policies and procedures.
